Use the following guidelines when configuring interest for an account:

•     For a patron account, interest can be generated (deposit or charge) as of a past date if there is no interest generated as of a later date in the same patron account.

•     Interest (deposit or charge) can be generated only as a past or current date. Interest cannot be generated for a future date.

•     When deposit interest is generated as of a past date, the interest transactions will be posted as of the current date. (Application and “transfer from” payments to a deposit account can occur as of the current date.)
